FDNY Hazardous Materials (Haz-Mat) Practice Exam

The Haz-Mat Battalion Chief and Aide are required to have advanced training to effectively manage hazardous materials incidents. The Technician II level encompasses a more comprehensive skill set and knowledge base compared to Technician I. This advanced-level training prepares them to handle various hazardous materials and toxic substances, conduct risk assessments, implement response strategies, and ensure the safety of responders and the public.
